The person behind the work
About Daniel
Helping people and businesses navigate technology with clarity and confidence.
Hello and welcome! — I'm glad you're here. I pride myself on being the bridge between people and technology; the person who turns confusing systems, disconnected tools, and inefficient processes into something that actually works for you — whether that's a business held back by outdated systems, or a household frustrated with tech that should just work.
My Story
My love for technology goes back further than my career does — and it's never sat still in one lane. I've worked in web marketing, supported broadcast and telecommunications systems, engineered full-stack products for tech startups, and now build software for one of the country's most demanding real-time platforms in wagering (live financial transaction) technology. What ties it together isn't the industry — it's a genuine love of learning itself, and every domain has taught me something the last one couldn't.
My Approach
I take a collaborative, no-nonsense approach to every project — clear communication, honest advice, and solutions built specifically around your needs, not a template. I'm as invested in the long-term relationship as I am in the immediate fix.
My Credentials
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis & Information Systems — formal training in how businesses actually work, not just how software does. Alongside that sits a genuine, long-running passion for software development itself, built through hands-on experience across a range of real-world projects and technologies. That combination helps me see a problem from the business side and build the technical answer to it, without losing anything in translation between the two.
My Values
I value trust, transparency, and consistency in every relationship I build — client or otherwise. But underneath all of that is something simpler: a genuine want to leave people better off than I found them, whether that's a business running smoother or someone finally feeling in control of their own technology.
I've never believed good solutions come from narrow expertise. Every system I touch is really a web of code, people, process, and purpose — and the wider my understanding stretches across that web, the more completely I can see what's actually being solved. Breadth, not just depth, is what turns a fix into a solution built to last.
Behind every project I work on, is a real person who cares about the outcome, not just the output. I've always seen myself as a bridge between people and technology — transforming ideas into reality, so the people I work with feel understood and relieved that their problems, their business, their contexts are in safe hands and achieve their goals.
If I leave your business, or your day, genuinely better than I found it, I've done my job.
